Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (Italy) – 3.7 seconds; 203 mph
Police cars in Italy were the happy recipients of a brand new Lamborghni, donated by the company itself as an anniversary gift celebrating the department’s 152nd anniversary in 2004. Four years later, the Lambo donated a new Gallardo LP560-4, which was actually put to use patrolling Italy’s highways. With a top speed of 203 miles per hour, and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds, it was capable of keeping pace with most other cars out there without too much trouble. But don’t worry about the 560 horsepower, 5.2-liter V10- powered supercar aging out of the fleet. Since then, the Italian Polizia have also taken shipment of a new Lamborghini Hurácan, Lambo’s replacement for the Gallardo.
