The New Porsche Cayman Black Edition

The new Porsche Cayman Black Edition

The new Porsche Cayman Black Edition emphasises the timeless and sporting elegance of the mid-engined, two-seat sports coupé. As the name suggests, the model is distinguished by a combination of a black paint finish and black partial leather interior, with further special equipment fitted as standard.

At the heart of the Cayman Black Edition beats an evocative 2.7-litre flat-six engine developing 275 hp (202 kW). The 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels with wider tyres increase style and also further boost the dynamic chassis responses for which the Cayman is renowned. Further eye-catching highlights are Bi-Xenon headlights with PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System) and optional side window trims in aluminium.

Special standard equipment of the Black Edition Cayman includes the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with satellite navigation (with Online services featuring real-time traffic information), automatic anti-dazzle rear view mirrors, rain sensor, cruise control, front and rear ParkAssist and a Sport Design steering wheel.

For enhanced personal comfort, the driver and passenger enjoy a two-zone climate control system, heated seats and Bluetooth phone connectivity. The Cayman Black Edition also comes with the high-quality audio system Sound Package Plus.

The Porsche Cayman Black Edition goes on sale today in Porsche Centres, and is priced from £45,989 RRP in the UK and €82,767 RRP in Ireland.

In addition to the Black Edition features, standard equipment on every Cayman includes air conditioning, CDR audio system with 7-inch colour touchscreen, universal audio interface offering MP3 connectivity, auto stop/start, Sports mode, tyre pressure monitoring, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), three year warranty and three year roadside assistance package.

Customers will also be able to explore the potential of their new car by participating in a complimentary course at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone.

The all-in-black special series from the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer now includes the Cayman, Boxster and the 911 Carrera (with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive as both a coupé and a cabriolet) each distinguished by their extensive standard equipment levels.
