Motorpoint officially unveiled its British Superbike (BSB) t-shirt at Brands Hatch – with a little help from former champion Tommy Hill.
The UK’s leading car supermarket teamed up earlier this year with the 2011 British Superbike Champion, and founder of design company Imagedzign, to create its official British Superbike t-shirt as part of its on-going sponsorship of the biggest domestic motorbike series in the world.
The limited edition t-shirt, which was printed by Gridstar UK, will be given away free of charge exclusively to motorbike fans at each of the 12 British Superbike (BSB) rounds between April and October.
Motorpoint celebrated the launch of the t-shirt by hosting a signing with Tommy Hill at the world-famous Brands Hatch on Easter Monday attended by over 400 people.
Mark Carpenter, Managing Director of Motorpoint, explained: “We were thrilled that Tommy Hill agreed to design our t-shirt for the 2014 British Superbike (BSB) season. His design is really eye catching and I am sure will quickly become a collector’s item among motorbike fans around the UK.”
Tommy Hill added: “I was delighted to have been asked by Motorpoint to design their t-shirt and based on the reaction of everyone at Brands Hatch the fans really seems to like what we have created – which is really pleasing. I can’t wait to see people wearing them at future rounds throughout the year.”
Motorpoint recently extended its title sponsorship of the British Supersport Championship, and full associate sponsorship of the British Superbike Championship, for a third successive season with promoter MotorSport Vision (MSVR).
