The powerful Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Prototype will enjoy its first ever dynamic public appearance this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from 27–29 June.
The Q50 Eau Rouge Prototype, is set to entertain the crowds attending this year’s festival as it roars past with its powerful 568PS V6 twin-turbo engine running at full throttle in the hands of Christian Horner, Infiniti Red Bull Racing Team Principal and Sebastian Buemi, Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Test & Reserve Driver.
Sebastian Buemi will also be available on the Infiniti hospitality stand for a question and answer session regarding the Formula One season so far and what we can expect going forward.
The Q50 Eau Rouge started life as a static design concept revealed at the Detroit motor show earlier in the year but has since been shown at the Geneva motor show with its thoroughbred V6 engine installed. In April, during the Beijing motor show, Infiniti announced it has reached a further step forward towards a production version with a full working prototype now undergoing tests and evaluation. It is this full working prototype that will power up the hill at Goodwood. Should you miss it then proceed to the ‘First Glance’ area positioned close to the start line where it will be displayed in-between its performance runs, and available for everyone to get up close and personal with the fastest Infiniti concept for many years.
The most powerful Infiniti ever has not been confirmed for production, but Infiniti will continue to listen to feedback from potential customers.
